His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, met yesterday the staff of Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center at their first business meetings where he was briefed about all the on-going projects, programmes and activities at the center. H. H. Sheikh Hamdan recommended that the Center has to start preparing a long term plan (for 15 years) including all space projects and programmes that have to be developed in a strategic framework to align with UAE vision, as well as the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai to work towards positioning the UAE as an internationally renowned leader within the field of space science and technology by 2021. By developing the UAE space industry, it shall be considered a great added value to our technical knowledge, human capital, national economy and global presence.
