The Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council and President of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU), H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has launched the “Dubai Center for Islamic Banking and Finance”. After the center’s launch, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan attended the signing of a cooperative agreement between Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU) and Catalonia Open University (UOC). The agreement is aimed at the exchange of knowledge and expertise through Dubai Center for Islamic Banking and Finance, as well as the promotion of the center’s performance to the highest levels of excellence in order to secure its strong presence among global e-learning educational institutions. Dubai Center for Islamic Banking and Finance is mainly based on the combination of direct learning benefits, online cooperative education, and self-education. Such a combination enables the center to reach a wide target audience through comprehensive teaching modules that meet the needs of different levels of students all over the world.
