Hamdan bin Mohammed Initiates 3 Year Countdown for Dubai Government’s Transition to fully Digital Paperless Services
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, today initiated a three-year countdown for implementing the Dubai Paperless Strategy. His Highness also announced the first two fully digital and paperless customer journeys on the DubaiNow application during a visit to the Smart Dubai headquarters.
The Dubai Paperless Strategy seeks to transform Dubai Government into a fully digital government in line with the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The two journeys were launched via Smart Dubai’s ‘Dubai Now’ platform, the city’s one-stop shop for smart services. The first journey revolves around driving a vehicle in Dubai, while the second focuses on relocating to a new house in the emirate.
