Hamdan bin Mohammed conveys the greetings of Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed to the family of the UAE’s first martyr who fell defending the country's sovereignty over the occupied Island of Greater Tunb

Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has conveyed the greetings of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the family of Salem Suhail bin Khamis, the first Emirati martyr who was killed in November 1971 while defending the country’s sovereignty over the occupied Island of Greater Tunb. Sheikh Hamdan visited the martyr’s family house in Al Munaie district of Ras Al Khaimah today. He also visited a number of schools in the district, including the one named after Salem Suhail bin Khamis.
