  H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, directed Dubai Department of Finance to the importance of commitment with determinants and requirements set out by the Dubai Strategic Plan and embark on implementing the budget as per the adopted fiscal policy.   Sheikh Hamdan during the Council meeting he had chaired at Emirates Towers, had approved implementation strategy of the general budget of Dubai Government for the fiscal year 2008 including plans for financing infrastructure projects such as roads, metro, drainage projects, housing projects for citizens and other public projects.   He expressed number of observations about what has been presented before the Council, such as performance reports on the budget during the first quarter of fiscal year 2008, calling at the same time, upon Council Members and Directors of the Governmental bodies and institutions to cooperate with the Department of Finance in line with the fiscal policy of Dubai Government for the current year.
