Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, attended the awards ceremony for the 26th edition of the Rashid Award for Academic Excellence. Organized by the Cultural and Scientific Association in Dubai, the ceremony honored an elite of professorial rank and doctorate degree holders. Upon his arrival, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on a number of historic photos, followed by a rendition of the National Anthem of the UAE. Later, Shaikh Hamdan honored the award winners comprising three of the professorial rank holders and a total of 67 doctorate degree holders.
