Hamdan bin Mohammed arrives in Kuwait to lead UAE Horse Riders

Crown Prince of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum arrived in Kuwait, this morning, to participate at the Gulf Endurance Cup. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan was received at the airport by Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al Sabah, Rahma Hussein Al Zaabi UAE Ambassador to Kuwait and a number of Kuwaiti officials. Crown Prince of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has led UAE horse riders at the Gulf Endurance Cup kicking off, today, at the Heritage Village of Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad at Salmiya in Kuwait. The 100-km race was held under the patronage of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and organized by the Kuwaiti Amateur Equestrian Association, with the participation of 138 horsemen and horsewomen representing Gulf elite horse riders. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, accompanied by Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum and “Meydan “ Chairman of Board of Directors Saeed Humaid Al Tayer inspected the race headquarters, this evening. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan ensured the confidence of the UAE horse riders and the readiness of the horses to participate in the Championship which receives various horse riders from various Gulf states. In a statement to Kuwait TV, Sheikh Hamdan thanked Kuwaiti people for their warm reception and hospitality stressing that participating at the race alongside his brothers, in Kuwait, who are celebrating their country’s National Day, is a victory for him.
