Dubai Ruler inaugurates Phase 1 of “Mohammed bin Rashid Solar Park”

​ UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has inaugurated the first phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Solar Park Project. The project is sponsored by Dubai’s Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) and managed and operated by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). With the total completed project at a cost of AED 12 billion (twelve billion dirhams), this project has a production capacity of 1000 MW of electricity. The ceremony commenced with the UAE National Anthem upon his Highness’s arrival at the project location in Seah Al Dahal, accessible via the Dubai-Al Ain Road. His Highness was accompanied by the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
