Cabinet Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid approves creation of UAE Fatwa Council

Presided by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and during the Cabinet meeting this evening in the presidential palace, the Cabinet approved the creation of UAE Fatwa Council aiming at establishing a unified and accredited reference for Fatwa, as well as controlling and regulating it in the state. It also aims at highlighting the tolerance of Islam and keeping track of the newly emerged matters of society through a number of experts and designated specialists of Shariaa within the state for keeping soundness of the society's fabric and religion.
